Konjak, the developer of The Iconoclast just put a new video in his site
the game is in widecreen now and the elevator section, the place where we'll stuck when playing the demo version is already working now
that mean he has start to continue working this abandoned project
after playing demo version, I must say this game is very good and really promising
let's hope that he will finish this game soon,

Gensou Shoujo Taisen Scarlet english patch released!

for you people who didn't know this game, this is a turn based strategy game featuring Touhou characters which released in Comiket 78 last year

the gameplay is similar with Super Robot Wars series, if you've played them, you should've familiar with this game system

the english patch said already 99.5% complete, so at least it will really help to understand this game story
already tried and playing in early stage, and it seems there are no problem so far
now the game title in english is Fantasy Maiden Wars

all Sengoku Basara 3 Utage characters revealed!

Sengoku Basara 3 Utage, the only console game I've been waiting this year
Capcom finally announced the last two characters
here is the complete roster of playable characters

aside from the old playable characters from Sengoku Basara 3, most of new addition characters is the NPC from that game, plus Matsunaga Hisahide which will have his 1st time debut here as playable character
so, total we got 30 playable characters now

CAVE shmup game in MAME

good news for you fans of CAVE arcade shmups
most of their 3rd gen game has been emulated and playable in newest version of MAME

donwload MAME ver 0.143u8 here

already tested with game like Espgaluda 2, Mushihime-sama, Mushihime-sama Futari, Ibara Black Label, Muchi Muchi Pork, Pink Sweets and Deathsmile
all games run in 80-90% speed, except Mushihime-sama which has some slowdown
EDIT: fix the slowdown on Mushihime-sama, just rename the ROM's name to mushisama.zip and the game run in full speed now

EDIT: here's new faster MAME build for slow computer
now most of the games can run in full speed!

this build still don't have windows UI tough
if you can't run the game from MAME directly, try to run the game from command line
or you can create a bat file to run each game, create a txt file and write "mame.exe *****.zip" [replace ***** with game's file name] then rename the .txt to .bat
oh! before that you must create folder named "roms" and put you ROM files there
